Job Brief:

Driven by a passion in creative design and marketing you will support the delivery of marketing plans from initiation to delivery, creating engaging visual content and ensuring successful delivery.

This full time position is ideal for a design or marketing professional who is looking to develop a broader skill set in marketing within the financial services industry. The role includes designing and developing visually engaging materials and content across various marketing channels including digital and hard copy, as well as supporting delivery of broader marketing activities to meet our business strategy. We would initially expect for design related work to form approximately 50-60% of this role and supporting delivery of broader marketing activities to form approximately 40-50% of this role. However this may fluctuate week by week depending on requirements.

This role forms part of a fast paced, dynamic marketing team and is absolutely integral to the success of our communications, design and campaign delivery.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Design creation (c.50-60% of role):
  • Design and develop visually engaging content across various marketing channels, including digital materials, email marketing, website, interactive pdf’s, client newsletters, printed material, business development materials, videos, brochures, magazines, flyers, posters etc. As our brand guardian, you will ensure all communications align to our brand guidelines.
  • Updating existing materials in accordance with annual reviews and Compliance expiries.
  • Working with external design and print houses and managing delivery of marketing outputs.
  1. Delivery of marketing activities (c.40-50% of the role):
  • Build and delivery of digital marketing campaigns and communications, e.g. website updates, webinars, videos, client newsletters/magazine, email marketing, social media.
  • Assist with renewal / updates of marketing materials.
  • Draft, edit and proof marketing content.
  • Co-ordinating delivery of materials including management of internal stakeholders/feedback.
  1. Any other duties as required to assist other members of the Marketing team.

 

Candidate Requirements:

  • GCSEs in Maths and English, grades A*-C/9-4
  • Organised, disciplined in approach, follows through meticulously and holds others to account for delivery.
  • Highly articulate, with the ability to communicate effectively and positively influence internal and external stakeholders.
  • Good planning and co-ordination skills – ability to multitask many projects at the same time to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent judgement of content and design in relation to our brand.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to tailor content and communications to the appropriate marketing formats as well as target audiences.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud and MS Office.
  • Desirable to have knowledge of marketing activities and how marketing operates within a financial services business.
  • Desirable (but not essential) to have a degree (or equivalent level) in a marketing or creative design related discipline.
  • Previous experience of using WordPress
  • Educated in an aligned vocational subject, i.e. communication design, graphic design, web design.
